Ian is a R.E.F.F.I.S. (theta) accredited and Nationally Registered fly-fishing guide based in Johannesburg South Africa, with many years of experience in the fly fishing industry, he specializes in guiding small groups of fly fishers ensuring professional individual attention.

Ian has an extensive knowledge of fly fishing methods, techniques and the habits and habitats relevant to several different fly fishing species including trout and salt water species but especially yellowfish where he is the current IGFA world record holder for Largemouth Yellowfish. 

He is a published author of various articles and writes a monthly freshwater column for The Complete Fly Fishermen Magazine. Ian's regular fishing updates and tips can be found on the Newsletter page for your enjoyment.
